Two months after our Juneteenth launch, we're unveiling our new logo and brand identity.
We're feeling very fancy, y'all! Today, we're officially launching our new logo! Our updated brand identity showcases a signature brand mark, bespoke word mark, and an updated color palette. The brand colors include brown as a nod to the community we serve, and green to signify our commitment to supporting our members' healing, evolution, and relaxation. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
We are proud of our new logo for several reasons, not least of which is because it was created by a team of Black women:
our Founder, Lisa Hurley
our Executive Director, Latrice Torres
our Designer, Rose Reynolds
All we can say is #BlackExcellence is real, and so is #BlackGirlMagic.
A huge shout out goes to our designer, because Rose knocked this out of the park ON HER FIRST TRY. Many of you have led projects similar to this, so you know that that is extremely unusual. Lisa and Latrice made a couple of tweaks, mainly to the color, but essentially the logo you're seeing now is the same one from the very first presentation that Rose made. Let us please all give her her flowers, cause she did an exemplary job. We even have a beautiful brand mark to use as an avatar (see below), and also on merch. 👀 (Yes, the merch is here, y'all. We are truly in love with our modern-yet-classic brand mark and word mark. As they say in our Founder's home country (she's from the Caribbean) Big Tings A Gwan! 🎉🙌🏾💚💃🏾
